This is an ideal location for a good price, but you get what you pay for. Most of the furniture in the house is on its last legs and a lot of the infrastructure is worryingly shoddy (walls have cracks, sockets give you a little shock if you’re not careful, carpet condition is poor) The kitchen is very small with limited surface space. The windows are all single glazed, meaning it is very cold in the winter months, especially in the upstairs bedrooms. There’s also access to the roof which has a nice view of bath (if you can climb up there) Saying this, the landlord is great and will fix things quickly if you let them know they’re broken. Next door to the building is an assisted living house for disabled residents, who aren’t too keen on noise, meaning parties and late night noise must be kept to a minimum.
