Its been really secure and nice so far. Its a great house, and we fell in love with it immediately viewing but when taking in account the bedroom size, shower pressure and heating situation (all electric heaters and it took us ages to work them out) its a bit spenny, and the utilities aren’t cheap. Its also a bit hard to find but really close to Bristol Uni Campus. Overall ive really enjoyed living here - i’d pick someone elses to go back to at the end of the night (flatmate can DEFO hear) but i’ve hosted several parties/seshes round with no space issues or complaints. The bedrooms are all identical and small but this wasn’t a problem until i had to isolate in them. We’ve had snails and ants but all dealt with easily and within a few days - just shop bought pesticides. The contract is tight and it seems like you can get charged for lots but the letting agents have been really helpful and on it so far. We had a water leak and lighting/electirc issues - the first people were round within 3hrs and the second people we round within 36hrs (after convincing them it wasnt just a lightbulb). They’ve been really helpful and transparent with Covid-19 information so far such as (or at least a lot better than other examples), directing us to government information websites about our rights, and letting us know what we need to do if we are having issues (such as the proof we need for landlord rent negotiations or what we need to do if the house will be empty or or quarantined). But yet to see what will happen re: deposit (which was MASSIVE) or if lockdown cont. past our move out date.
